Kevin Fitzpatrick, the Trust’s Head of Estates and Property, is currently training for the iconic Rolex Fastnet yacht race to raise money for The Disabilities Trust. Can you sponsor him as he embarks on his challenge?

Kevin Fitzpatrick, our Head of Estates and Properties, has signed up to the iconic Rolex Fastnet yacht race to raise money for The Disabilities Trust. Arguably one of the toughest offshore races in the world, participants in the Fastnet cover 600 miles, from Cowes to the Fastnet lighthouse on the southern tip of Ireland and back, finishing in Cherbourg. It will take around five to six days of full time non-stop sailing to complete.

Through the power of technology, Ty Aberdafen has continued their national lottery funding for music therapy via Zoom despite the pandemic. Through our partnership with Nordoff Robbins, the UK’s largest music therapy charity, weekly sessions with Lucie Phillips, Music Therapist, has helped the people we support immensely; physically, mentally and emotionally.

Fen House is looking for support to purchase an outdoor gym including chest press, cross trainer, hand bike and leg press. Can you help?

Jane Percy House would like to offer service users a home cinema experience in their lounge area. Many of the service users are avid movie buffs and music listeners and so we are fundraising to provide the equipment needed.

From 1-7 June, we celebrated Volunteers' Week by thanking all the special teams and individuals who generously give their time to the people we support.
